Cedar Valley College is proud to introduce the Platinum Pass! And, no, it is not redeemable at Six Flags.

However, it is redeemable for something of incredible value – free college education.

Cedar Valley College is joining Texas Governor Greg Abbott in his plan to elevate Texas’ higher education system by ensuring 60 percent of Texans 25 to 34 years of age have obtained a college certificate or degree by the year 2030.

You have the opportunity to help Texas take its place in history by becoming one of its college-educated citizens.

To help, Cedar Valley College is providing the first 100 Dallas County residents who bring in the attached Platinum Pass with one (1) free three-credit course. Terms and conditions apply.

The Platinum Pass must be presented in person through Friday, July 31, 2020 to Cedar Valley College’s Office of Financial Aid for redemption. The office is located in Building L, 3030 N. Dallas Avenue, Lancaster, Texas 75134.

Individuals must be new CVC students, or current students who have 8 credits or less to complete their certificate or 15 credits or less to complete their degree. A student must enroll in at least 6 credits in order to use the Platinum Pass, and he or she must also complete the FAFSA. The pass cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash, nor can it be reproduced.
